Henriette Riegel



Henriette Riegel is the Director of Client Relations at David Pratt & Associates, a government relations and strategic consultancy firm in Ottawa, Canada. She brings over 20 years of experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, both locally and internationally, with a keen eye for meeting the needs of clients.

Henriette is an experienced planner, project manager and consultant, and has worked with a number of organizations, including the Bank of Canada, the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum, the Department of Operations and Security at EXPO2000 GmbH, the University of Toronto, and Lord Cultural Resources Planning and Management, Inc. An experienced strategic and business planner, she brings a proven track record for leading organizational growth and innovative programming. She is an adept networker with the ability to seek out and manage stakeholders and partnerships with businesses, embassies, community organizations, embassies and academic institutions, and has spearheaded award-winning partnerships distinguished by their innovation in the tourism marketplace. She is also a skilled advocate, creating and implementing advocacy plans and developing relationships with all three levels of government, the Senate, diplomats, and business leaders. As a consultant and project manager, she worked on a number of feasibility studies, business plans, strategic plans and concept development for clients in North America, Europe and the Middle East.

Henriette brings years of workshop development and training experience. She has taught graduate level university courses, and has mentored graduate and undergraduate students. She has also developed and led business workshops, led peer-exchange workshops, taught project management workshops, and presented and moderated sessions at numerous conferences and symposia.

Her expertise with content management allows her to organize themes, content and priority messages for clients, projects and the media. She is a trained media speaker in both official languages, and writes for industry publications like Frontline and Esprit de Corps. She is fluent in French, English and German.

Henriette holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, Master’s degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto, and doctoral work at York University.
