The Honourable David Pratt P.C., is honoured to be invited to speak at the Oxford Union Debate in Oxford, England, on October 25, 2018. He will be supporting the proposition “The War on Terror is its own Worst Enemy” alongside Sir Ivor Roberts and American Congresswoman Jane Harman. Opposing the proposition will be Lt Gen Sir Graeme Roberts, Ambassador Gerald Feierstein and Sir Mark Rowley. Mr. Pratt is honoured to be speaking in this company, each of whom brings specialist and individual knowledge and experience to the subject. The Oxford Union has been described as the “world’s most prestigious debating society” and the eclectic list of past speakers goes back to 1823 but includes such names as John Kerry, Morgan Freeman, Stephen Fry, Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill, John McCain, Hamid Karzai, Bobby Kennedy, Malcolm X, Jon Bon Jovi and Clint Eastwood among many others. It promises to be a very special occasion.
